Frequently Asked Questions
1. I have lunch during my lesson. What should I do?
Pack your lunch for school that day. Bring your lunch, instrument, and folder directly to your lesson and you can eat there. If you forgot to pack your lunch, go immediately to the cafeteria, politely go to the front of the line, and purchase a quick and easy meal that you can eat in the band room. You'll listen to the lesson and follow along until you're ready to play.
2. I forgot my instrument and I have a lesson and/or band today. What should I do?
Come to see Mrs. Witmer when you get into school in the morning. If you have a parent/guardian at home, you may use our phone to call and see if he/she can bring it in for you. If not, you should still come to your lesson.
3. I am going to be absent on the day of my lesson. What should I do?
Come to see Mrs. Witmer as soon as possible regarding your absence. We will work together to reschedule your lesson for another day during that week with a different lesson group.
4. My instrument is broken. What should I do?
Come to see Mrs. Witmer right away. It is very likely that I will be able to fix it for you. If not, I can send it to the repair shop and let you borrow an instrument until yours is repaired.
